About
History
Canandaigua Players Productions, Inc. was formed in 2010 by a group of parents, alumni and friends of the Canandaigua Academy Players in an effort to support and promote the productions of the Canandaigua Academy Players. We are a not for profit, wholly separate entity, that seeks to increase community support for the Academy Players through fundraising and volunteer opportunities. We also seek to increase alumni and community involvement in the creation of productions, while also giving students as many opportunities to participate and excel in theatre as possible. Volunteer Opportunities for 2023/2024
Backstage snacks volunteer for fall production (helps organize donations for snacks during the productions, refills snacks)
Bravo table volunteer for fall and spring productions (helps put names of all in cast, crew, and pit on goodie bags in the lobby, buy candy (CPP funds) to fill bags, organize table with pens and note cards/pieces of paper for show attendees to write notes for our cast and crew)
Apparel orders (help work with vendors to provide Canandaigua Players apparel ordering options to families, research vendors and premium items as needed for best pricing)
Concessions Co-Lead (help organize concession sales and organize volunteers for each show)
Fundraising Chair (helps identify and organize fundraising opportunities for CPP, work with volunteers as needed to help with fundraising efforts)
